JV Summer Cocktail
It’s officially summer in the U.S., and it has me itching for a big ol’ fresh cocktail! This weekend is 4th of July weekend and if you are having people over for any sort of gathering it’s time to start thinking about that perfect craft drink you want to wow all of your friends with to go with the firework backdrop.
If you are into fresh seasonal drinks this post is specifically for you! I’m not generally a fan of overly sweet or fruity drinks because they basically make me want to gag, but I love the vibe of a Moscow mule or a mojito. The only problem with a mojito is that it takes forever to muddle everything and you need so many ingredients to make it taste just right.
If you are like me and you don’t want to fool with the whole production of a super involved drink and actually don't want to be in the kitchen all day playing bartender, you won’t need to with this recipe! You will however, make everyone think you're a full blown mixologist.
(The following makes 2 servings)
- Effen Cucumber Vodka
- St. Elder
- Coconut Water
- Fresh Lime
- Fresh Cucumber
Mix in Cocktail Mixer:
- 3 oz Effen Cucumber Vodka
- 1.5 oz St. Elder
- 3 oz Coconut water
- Juice from half of fresh lime
***Add fresh cucumber for garnish
Happy Mixing! Let me know what your guests think in the comments below!
