Nashville Week - Pub Crawl
There are tons of amazing places in Nashville to wet your whistle with a big ice cold beer on a casual autumn evening (or day), so we decided to check some of them out for you! Nashville bars and honkey-tonks are notorious for having hosting some of the greatest musical artists in the infancy of their careers and often times those who go on to become successful in the industry come back to hang out in those same places, so how could you not check it out?
The Group Pick: The Stage
The Stage is a legendary bar located on Broadway in downtown Nashville. By far this was everyones favorite spot. According to their website, "The Whiskey's on Ice and the Music’s on Fire. THE STAGE ON BROADWAY is a little bit Texas and a whole lotta Nashville. It’s Downtown’s hottest, edgiest place to party hard with all your rowdy friends. See and be seen at The STAGE. Live country music and never a cover charge, lets you boot scoot all night long on the big dance floor. Check out famous mural on the wall and the original oil painting of The Highwaymen that hangs over the front door. This painting once belonged to Waylon Jennings and hung in his Nashville home."
Make sure you check out the rooftop for some of the best views of downtown! There are also different bands playing on each level so you have a variety to choose from!
My Pick: Play Dance Bar
Play Dance Bar is a perfect place to cut loose and dance all night and see some of the best drag performances in the south. We had the pleasure of seeing some Famous drag queens from Ru Paul's Drag Race like Alyssa Edwards and Tatiana. This venue is 18 and up and there is a cover, so keep that in mind, but it's totally worth it! This gay bar is also a perfect place for everyone looking for some of the best dance and pop music mash ups in Nashville! There is also an outside patio to chill and get some fresh air!
Located at 1519 Church Street, this was about a $5 Uber from our condo, so it's easily accessible if you are staying downtown! There is also a location in Louisville, KY.
